The Punakha Dzong, also known as the “Palace of Great Happiness,” is one of Bhutan’s most beautiful and well-preserved dzongs. The pass is also home to the Dochula Druk Wangyal Chortens, a collection of 108 stupas, which were built to honor Bhutan's monarchs and commemorate their victory in a military campaign.
The lush green fields and temperate climate of Punakha make it an ideal place for peaceful walks, photography, and nature enthusiasts. You can explore the valley’s beauty at your own pace and capture unforgettable moments during your trip.
